About me

My name is Nick Garland. I’m 14 years old. I will turn 15 on November 24^th of this year. I am a freshman at Olympia high school. I’m going to be keeping a blog in my English 1/ writing class for the entire first semester of my freshman year. I hope that you enjoy reading my entries. There will be a new one each week.

I’m somewhere between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. I have glasses to help my nearsightedness. I have short light brown hair and blue eyes. I have broad and stocky shoulders. I have long and muscular arms and legs.

My personality is like most peoples, it varies by day. If I’m having a bad day, I can sometimes have an attitude towards everybody. If I’m having a stressful day, I can be easily angered. When I am having these kinds of days I just like to be left alone. Most of the time however, I am easy going and a fun person to be around. I show respect to everybody that shows me a little respect. I don’t expect to get much respect unless I earn it though.

Some of my likes are sports, reading, video games, and playing around on the internet. I ran cross country in 7^th and 8^th grade. I also ran track in 7^th and 8^th grade. I intend to run track again this year and I also intend to try out for the basketball team.
